How similar is getting wisdom teeth out to getting braces?
In terms of pain, diet, resting…wisdom teeth is a surgery, but I guess getting braces is on is also painful. Do you have to eat soft foods the entire time you have braces?? Is one procedure good preparation for the other? Any thoughts will help.
well with braces, after a couple of days you can eat solid food (i had steak 2 days after i had mine. lol it was my bday so i was determined) but when you get your wisdoms pulled, you can barely eat… i should know i just got them pulled this morning. but if you do have soft foods you would want to have things that you would not need to eat. Oh and the preperation is WAYYYY different becasue for your wisdoms to be pulled, you cant eat or drink for 8 hours because of the IV that you will need to get. and for braces, you don’t really need to do anything except brush your teeth before you go to the ortho
